Frequently Asked Questions
These are some of the most common questions asked by our clients. If your query is not answered here please contact us on Freephone 0800 6444 064 or by using our web form.
Q: Where and when will the production meeting take place?
A: Shortly after you book we will arrange a convenient date to meet so we can discuss the details of your day and establish the style of filming you require. This will usually take about an hour. This normally takes place in your home but can be held at somewhere of your choice or in our Hampshire based studio. Alternatively, we can hold this over the phone if you prefer.
Q: Do I have to pay travel costs?
A: All travel costs are included in the package price unless stated at the time of booking.
Q: What if your packages aren’t exactly what we want?
A: Don’t worry, we can create a package that suits you. We can discuss this at the production meeting.
Q: How far will you travel?
A: We have no maximum distance that we will travel, however, if travel time is excessive then a charge may apply. We will discuss this at first contact.
Q: Will I have to act for the camera?
A: No, we film your day discreetly and do not generally stage shots. However, staged shots can allow us to create some memorable scenes, but it is completely your decision as to how much is staged.
Q: Will my dvd come in a case?
A: Yes, your film will presented in a luxury DVD display case which is included in the price of your package. Additional copies are presented in a quality dvd tin.
Q: I have some footage of the proposal and the engagement party, can this be included in my film?
A: Yes, we can include any home footage or photographs you have and this can sometimes create an endearing introduction to your film. There may be a charge for these services.
Q: Can I request any changes to my film?
A: Once we have completed the edit we will send you a draft copy. You can then request any changes. This may be a section of the film that don’t like or you may like more shots of a particular relative. We will always try to accommodate these requests.
Q: How long after my wedding day will I receive my film?
A: We aim to have the draft copy to you within 6 weeks of your wedding.
Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes, we have comprehensive liability and indemnity insurance to the value of £2m
